Joshua Allen Charged For Attacking His Girlfriend
Joshua Allen, the season 4 winner of “So You Think You Can Dance,” may be doing the jailhouse shuffle after he was slapped with three felony charges for violently attacking his girlfriend twice within a two-month timeframe.
According to the District Attorney’s office, the 27-year-old dancer strangled his girlfriend in April. At that time, she already had a criminal protective order against him for a prior domestic violence conviction.
Last month, Joshua went after her again! She tried to escape by running inside of a coffee shop. He followed her inside and went HAM! He allegedly threw a glass vase at a woman who tried to intervene and vandalized the shop until bystanders subdued him.
Joshua Allen has been charged with 2 felony counts of willfully injuring his girlfriend, 1 felony assault with a deadly weapon, 4 misdemeanors related to battery, vandalism and violating the protective order.
If convicted, Joshua faces up to 10 years in prison.
