‘SNL’ Roasts The Oscars With This Hilariously Accurate Skit
“Saturday Night Live” went in on the Oscars with their hilariously accurate skit titled, “Screen Guild Awards,” mocking the lack of diversity in Hollywood.
In the skit, all of the lead role nominations went to white actors with small roles in predominantly black films including Punching Upward (Creed), Shut Em Down (Straight Outta Compton), and All the Beasts of Heaven (Beasts of No Nation).
While the skit is hilarious, the obviously lack of diversity in Hollywood is no laughing matter.
