Texas Police shut down lemonade stand

What the heck is going on in Texas?!

First, you can’t have a pool party. Now, they’re cracking down on black market lemonade stands?

Texas sisters Andria Green, 7, and Zoey Green, 8, created a lemonade stand to raise money to take their dad to Splash Kingdom water park for Father’s Day.

The little entrepreneurs raked in $25 dollars by selling fifty cent cups of lemonade and $1 bags of kettle corn before the police and code enforcement popped up and shut down their operation because they didn’t have a permit.

Overton police Chief Clyde Carter told KLTV, “We have to follow by the state health guidelines. They have to have a permit if they’re going to do the lemonade stands.”
