Simone Biles landed an insane move called the Yurchenko double pike twice during a U.S. Classic practice session on Friday.

The move has never been completed by a female gymnast in competition, but Simone makes it look easy.

The move starts with a roundoff back-handspring approach to the vault, which leads to a double flip while the athlete maintains a straight-legged position.

The move is named after soviet gymnast Natalia Yurchenko. She originated the roundoff back handspring entry onto the vault and then performing a series of twists and flips off.

Watch the video below of Simone completing the move:

Simone had the Twitter streets going crazy after she nearly stuck the landing.

Simone started thinking about using the move back in February 2020, and by March 2021 she was confident that she would use the move.

It’s actually been like, Wow, this is feasible, we can do this. And that’s kind of the scary part, me testing my limits, proving myself wrong, and being like, ‘Dang, Simone you can do this.

That’s insane. Honestly, at this age, I feel like I would kind of start going down, but I’m still going up.

Below is footage of Simone practicing the move back in February 2020:

On Saturday, May 22, Simone will compete for the first time in 587 days at the U.S. Classic in Indianapolis at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

The U.S. Classic is a tune-up for the U.S. Championships and Olympic Trials, both in June.

Please tune in to support Simone Biles and see her perfect the Yurchenko double pike.
