I am so excited to tell you “The Chi” has been renewed for a second season at Showtime.
The hit drama, created and produced by Lena Waithe and executive produced by Common, is a coming-of-age story centering on a group of residents who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption.
Let me be the first to extend a warm welcome to Ayanna Floyd Davis, who has joined season 2 as executive producer and showrunner. Some of her previous work includes “Empire” and “Hannibal.”
