Serena Williams has become the world’s highest-paid female athlete after earning $28.9 million over the past 12 months.
The tennis champ has officially unseated Maria Sharapova, who has held the title for the past 11 years. Unfortunately for Maria, she has bigger fish to fry at the moment.
Serena is also gracing the June issue of Glamour magazine and she’s looking absolutely fabulous!
Inside her feature interview with Melissa Harris Perry, Serena says people shouldn’t blame Drake, who was her rumored boo thang at the time, for her U.S. Open loss.
No. I don’t think that was fair. I’m the one who’s playing, who’s making mistakes or making winners. I’m not one to blame anyone else for anything. And I don’t think anyone else should either. I played a really good opponent that day. And I wasn’t at my best.
