Seattle Seahawks backup offensive lineman Chad Wheeler was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence on Saturday after physically harming his girlfriend because she refused to bow to him.

What in the Medieval Times…

According to the police report, a woman called 911 after a “physical fight” with her boyfriend, and she stated she was being “killed.”

When police arrived the victim was reportedly bleeding and her arm was dislocated, Wheeler had picked the bathroom lock and was standing beside the victim when police arrived.

The victim claimed Wheeler, who is 6’7″ and 310-pounds, strangled her before she lost consciousness after she did not bow to him like he requested. She also claimed Wheeler said, “Wow, you’re alive?” after she regained consciousness.

Wheeler was booked into the King County Jail in Seattle on Saturday, and he was released on $400,000 bond on Tuesday, according to jail records.

The Seahawks organization said, “We are aware of the situation and still gathering information,” according to The Seattle Times.
