Roseanne Barr took to Twitter on Thursday to continue to wallow in the consequences of her ignorance.
Now, the actress and comedian says she fears Jayden Rey, who played her step-granddaughter on the “Roseanne” reboot, will think she doesn’t love her because she’s black.
The saddest part of all is 4 Jayden Rey on the show whom I grew 2 love so much & am so ashamed of myself that she would ever think I do not love her bc she is African American.
It’s the most gawd awful painful thing. I can’t let myself cave in tho.

She wasn’t done. Roseanne also told her followers that she begged ABC not to cancel “Roseanne.”
She went on to say she told Ben Sherwood she was willing to do anything to make things right to stop her cast and crew from losing their jobs.
I begged Ben Sherwood at ABC 2 let me apologize & make amends. I begged them not to cancel the show. I told them I was willing to do anything & asked 4 help in making things right. I’d work doing publicity 4 them 4 free for weeks, traveling, thru bronchitis. I begged 4 ppls jobs.

Rosie should have stopped while she was ahead because as she continued to tweet, she only dug herself a deeper hole.
In her next tweet, she claimed she thought Valerie Jarrett was white.
He said: what were you thinking when you did this? I said: I thought she was white, she looks like my family! He scoffed & said: “What you have done is egregious and unforgiveable.” I begged 4 my crews jobs. Will I ever recover from this pain? OMG

Roseanne is making my head hurt. I gotta cash out on her and this tomfoolery.
