Roc-A-Fella is suing Damon Dash over a Reasonable Doubt NFT.

Damon, who is one of the founding members of the iconic label, is accused of trying to auction off JAY-Z’s debut album to the highest bidder as a non-fungible token (NFT).

The problem is Roc-A-Fella says Damon does not own it therefore he has no right to sell it.

The auction has since been canceled, but powerhouse attorney Alex Spiro filed court doc claiming Damon Dash is “frantically scouting for another venue to make the sale.”

They are asking a court to step in to halt the auction and force Damon Dash to relinquish any Reasonable Doubt NFTs he may have already sold.

Earlier this week, JAY-Z filed a lawsuit against celeb photo Jonathan Mannion for the unauthorized sale of the images he took for the Reasonable Doubt album shoot back in 1996.
