Houston Police are now investigating a woman who appears to have plotted to kill Lee Kendra Childs on Twitter.
Childs, a 19-year-old mother of a 2-year-old daughter, was gunned down in a drive-by shooting on Tuesday afternoon, just one day before her 20th birthday.
Her boyfriend discovered her body and quickly ran out of the home to seek help and called the police, Sgt. Mark Holbrook, of HPD’s Homicide Division, said.
Thank God their baby wasn’t in the home at the time of the shooting.
Lee Kendra’s death sparked the hashtag #RIPKendra as social media users expressed their outrage over tweets from Child’s boyfriend’s ex that appear to show her publicly plotting to kill the young mother.
The tweets literally made the hairs on my arms stand at attention.
