Rick Ross Strikes A Deal In Felony Kidnapping & Assault Case

Rick Ross struck a deal in a Fayette County courtroom on Tuesday (April 4) to avoid jail time on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery and kidnapping stemming from a 2015 incident where he allegedly pistol-whipped and beat a former employee on his property.

The Hip Hop star pleaded no contest to one count of aggravated assault. His other felony charges were dropped.

Ross, born William Leonard Roberts II, was reportedly charged as a first-time felony offender, which means after he pays the imposed $10,000 fine, the conviction will be erased from his record.

In addition to the felony charge, Rozay also pleaded no contest to assault, battery, two counts of pointing a pistol at someone, and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana. He was given 60 months probation for the misdemeanor charges.

Under the plea deal, his travel will not be restricted during his probation.
