The Alpharetta Municipal Court issued a bench warrant for Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s arrest after she failed to show up in court two weeks ago for a charge of driving with an expired tag registration.
The warrant was issued days before the tragic incident that left Bobbi Kristina fighting for her life.
After learning of her current situation, the court has dismissed the bench warrant.
George Gordon, Executive Officer/ public information officer for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, released a statement saying, “In fact, we asked the court to dismiss the warrant and recall it, which they did. The important issue is we hope the grieving family and friends find comfort during this difficult period.”
Law enforcement sources have revealed a criminal investigation is underway to find out exactly what happened to Bobbi Kristina on January 31 when she was found unresponsive in her bathtub.
According to WSBTV news in Atlanta, police say they aren’t ruling out foul play and they aren’t ruling out it was an accident. But, they do plan to get to the bottom of it.
TMZ is reporting Bobbi Kris had sustained injuries that raised suspicions and they are aware the couple had a history of domestic violence. (That may be where the stories of Nick Gordon allegedly being banned from the hospital came from.)
Both Nick Gordon and his friend Max Lomax, who was there at the time of the incident, have obtained lawyers.
Read an excerpt from TMZ‘s report below.
We’re told Max Lomas — the friend who discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub — arrived at around 9 AM last Saturday. He says he hung out with Nick but did not see Bobbi Kristina. He was told she was in the bedroom. Nick wandered away and Max says he didn’t pay attention to his whereabouts.
The cable guy showed sometime after 10 AM and Max says he let him in — Nick was nowhere to be seen. The cable guy said he needed access to the bedroom so Max let him in and discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub. He screamed for Nick, who ran in and administered CPR.
We’re told Max claims Nick allegedly cleaned up the home and removed blood stains.
Cops interviewed both Max and Nick and they want to debrief Max again, but our law enforcement sources say Max’s lawyer insisted on immunity before he spoke again. We’re told as of Friday morning Max hadn’t gotten immunity or talked to cops.
Please continue to pray for Bobbi Kristina’s recovery and for her family.
