Kevin Gates is going on a 6-month getaway at the concrete motel.
The “2 Phones” rapper has been sentenced to 6 months in jail on battery charges for kicking a teenage fan in the chest during his 2015 concert at Rumors nightclub.
18-year-old Miranda Dixon grabbed the rapper’s leg while he was performing. As soon as she made contact, Kevin (real name Kevin Jerome Gilyard), reacted by kicking her in the chest.
According to the affidavit, the kick was with such force that it pushed the victim back into the crowd. The victim stated that she was dazed and lost her breath. The victim collapsed a short time after the kick and had to be helped to her feet by concerned fans.

The judge sentenced Kevin to 180 days in Polk County Jail. He was immediately taken into custody.
