Joey Badass Damages His Eyes Staring At The Solar Eclipse

A hard head makes a soft a$$…well, a blind a$$.

Rapper Joey Badass has reportedly damaged his eyes by staring at the solar eclipse without protective eyewear.

On Monday, the 22-year-old tweeted, “Am I crazy for watching the eclipse today w no glasses? I’ve sungazed before and afterwards saw colors for a whole day. I didn’t die tho.”

He went on to tweet, “This ain’t the first solar eclipse and I’m pretty sure our ancestors ain’t have no fancy eyewear. Also pretty sure they ain’t all go blind.”

Apparently his eyes were as strong as his ancestors and took a major L.

As a result, he’s forced to wear special glasses from his doctor and has to cancel three dates on Logic’s Everybody Tour.

Joey tweeted, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, my Cleveland, Chicago & Toronto shows on the #EverybodyTour are cancelled.”

Despite the alleged circumstances, he’s in good spirits and likes his new specs. “Doc said I gotta keep these on in the daytime now…. a lil annoying but they’re pretty fire,” he wrote on Instagram.
