Doug Banks Passes Away At 57
It’s with a heavy heart that I report
Doug suffered from diabetes which eventually affected his kidneys.
He was hospitalized in December, but returned to the radio for a short time in January 2016 as he continued to undergo dialysis treatments.
Unfortunately, Doug Banks passed away on Monday morning.
V-103 released the following statement:
With a heavy heart our V-103 family would like to send our thoughts and prayers to Doug Banks’ family and friends. Doug, a true radio legend, has passed away today. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
