Rachel Dolezal Changes Name To Nkechi Amare Diallo
Rachel Dolezal is trying to thrive by any means necessary.
Last week, I told you the former NAACP leader, who was outed as a white woman, couldn’t find work, was on food stamps, and on the verge of eviction.
According to Rachel, she can’t find work because no one wants to hire the chick who pretended to be black for most of her adult life.
Now, it’s come to light that Rachel legally changed her name to Nkechi Amare Diallo last October.
Via TMZ:
The 39-year-old filed to adopt the West African moniker in Washington State … according to Daily Mail. Nkechi is short for Nkechinyere in the Nigerian language of Igbo, and translates to “gift of god.”
Her new last name, Diallo, comes from the Fula people of West Africa and means “bold” … which seems all too fitting for the artist formerly known as Rachel.
Unfortunately, her name change doesn’t appear to be making her situation any better.
On behalf of Nigerians everywhere, we refuse to acknowledge Rachel Dolezal and this new name she's tryna go by. WE DO NOT CLAIM HER.
