A criminal investigation has been launched in Georgia to probe the allegations made against R&B star R. Kelly following Lifetime’s explosive 6-part docu-series, “Surviving R. Kelly.”
According to TMZ, investigators were flooded with calls following the docu-series and they are now reaching out to the women featured in the documentary as well as the family of Jocelyn Savage.
Asante McGee and the Savage family’s attorney have already spoken with investigators from the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.
You may recall August of 2017, Fulton County Chairman John Eaves called for a criminal investigation of R. Kelly after new “concerning” evidence been discovered.
Considering the fact that the D.A.’s office declined to comment on this alleged current investigation – I don’t know what to believe.
Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx encourages other women who have been abused by R. Kelly to come forward.
