R. Kelly Walks Off “HuffPost Live” After Questions About His Past Sexual Assault Allegations
It seemed like R. Kelly wasn’t ready when he stopped by “HuffPost Live” on Monday to promote his new album, The Buffet.
The interview started off well. But, things took a terrible turn when host Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani asked R. Kelly about the fans who are conflicted in supporting him because of his past sexual assault charges against young girls.
Growing agitated, R. Kelly snapped at her saying, “I did not come here to get interrogated. I didn’t come here for a deposition.” Then, Kellz asked Caroline, “Do you know what a deposition is?”
He continued to over-talk her saying, “This is a deposition. This is not about R. Kelly. This is not about music. This is not about someone who works hard on his music, who has an album out. This is about trying to interrogate me. And this is about disrespect.”
When Caroline attempted to explain to him that she wasn’t interrogating him, R. Kelly said, “Well, if you don’t think you’re disrespecting me that’s just the level of your intelligence. Not mine.”
Shortly thereafter, R. Kelly got up and walked off of the set!
