R. Kelly sat down with Gayle King for his very first interview since the embattled R&B singer was charged and arrested for 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse.

Clips of the interview, slated to air in its entirety on Wednesday morning (March 6) at 7 a.m., has been released and it shows a very emotional R. Kelly attempting to explain away a lot of accusations without saying much of anything.
At one point, he breaks down in tears as he yells, “I’m fighting for my f–king life!”
Watch the clips below.
NEW: R&B singer R. Kelly, charged with aggravated sexual abuse, angrily denied the accusations in a new interview with @GayleKing, insisting the claims are “rumors” & “not true.”

Hunty, Gayle was not moved by R. Kelly’s performance during this interview. Her face and body language is a mood I strive to obtain at the highest level.
Michael Avenatti chimed in on the interview…
Watch this please. Importantly, R. Kelly does NOT deny sexually assaulting underage girls. In fact, his answer demonstrates his guilt. He fails to understand that it doesn’t matter “how long ago” it happened. And he also has no clue as to how “double jeopardy” works. https://t.co/ntGt8I5zBC

R. Kelly’s tears are out of fear and despair. Because he knows that after over two decades of sexually abusing underage girls, we blew this wide open and have him and his enablers dead to rights. #Justice

One woman on Twitter pretty much summed up my feelings about this interview before seeing it in its entirety:
Will you be tuned in tomorrow morning?
