R. Kelly remains in a Chicago jail because he is unable to produce 10 percent ($100,000 cash) of the $1 million he needs to post bond.
The embattled R&B singer turned himself in on Friday night after he was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The Pied Piper’s attorney, Steve Greenberg said the bond is “fair and reasonable given the allegations,” But, he added that R. Kelly “really doesn’t have any money at this point” due to “bad deals,” “hangers-on” and “mismanagement.”
Greenberg says Robert doesn’t have $100,000 “sitting in the bank,” but he’s “trying to get it together.”
Court docs also reveal R. Kelly owes his ex-wife Andrea Kelly $169,000 in unpaid child support. The state sought to have him pay the past due support before he is released, but luckily for the singer – the judge is not requiring him to do so.
Things aren’t looking good for R. Kelly.
Michael Avenatti announced he has turned over another tape to Cook County prosecutors on Monday that shows the singer engaged in some sick shenanigans with another minor.
I can confirm that we will be providing a second video showing R. Kelly engaged in sexual assault of a minor to prosecutors this morning. This tape was recently uncovered in connection with our ongoing nationwide investigation on behalf of victims. Justice must be done.

Another victim turned over a shirt with the singer’s DNA on it.
