Soleil Moon Frye Pays Tribute To George Gaynes
“Punky Brewster” star Soleil Moon Frye took to social media to remember her co-star, George Gaynes, who passed away on Tuesday with a sweet tribute. He was 98.
George, played the grumpy foster parent, Henry Warnimont, who took in Punky Brewster (Moon Frye) after she and her dog, Brandon, are abandoned by her mother in a supermarket. The show aired from 1984 to 1988 and as a kid I lived for every single episode.
Soleil, 39, shared a sweet photo of herself and George with the caption, “The universe just gained a gigantic star.”
