Legendary singer Roberta Flack was rushed to the hospital on Friday night after falling ill during her performance at the Apollo Theater.
The 81-year-old “Killing Me Softly” singer was performing at a charity concert for the Jazz Foundation of America when she fell ill.
EMTs were called and she was transported to a Harlem hospital around 8:50 p.m.
Roberta Flack checked out of the hospital two hours later, but doctors are still running test to determine what caused her to fall ill.
