Ledisi is asking her fans to uplift her mother, Nyra Dynese, in prayer.
Ms. Nyra, who celebrated her birthday on New Year’s Day, has been hospitalized.
The soul singer took to her Instagram on Wednesday and wrote, “Everyone if you have a few seconds in your busy day can you please please send some prayers to my mom?”
