PRAYERS UP: Freddie Gray's Mother Gloria Darden Hospitalized After Alleged Suicide Attempt

She is currently undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.

The Gray family’s attorney, Bill Murphy said in a statement, “…she is still mourning the loss of her son. The family asks that you continue to pray for her and for them.”

Gloria’s 25-year-old son, Freddie Gray, was arrested back on April 12. He was critically injured when taken into police custody and died a week later.

The shocking news of Gloria Darden’s suicide attempt comes a few week after the Gray family was awarded $6.4 million to settle civil claims.
