Actor Markice “Kesan” Moore is recovering at home after being hospitalized for a suicide attempt.
The 28-year-old actor, best known for his role as a prisoner in season 3 of “The Walking Dead,” was found unresponsive in his Woodland Hills home last Tuesday morning after reportedly overdosing on a deadly mix of Patron and Xanax.
Markice was rushed to the hospital and placed on a 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold for 72 hours. He’s been released and is now recuperating at home.
It’s believed Markice Moore was distraught over the recent passing of his grandmother, but now the father and husband regrets attempting to take his own life.
His rep released a statement asking for prayers as Markice regroups.
Mr. Moore is focused on getting the help he needs and moving forward with his life to live it to the fullest. He has a bright future ahead of him that he is looking forward to.
At this time we ask that you respect his privacy while he is taking time to heal and keep Markice and his family in your prayers.
Many of us know Markice as “Kesan” from the film, ATL and the short-lived MTV reality show, “G’s To Gents.”
It’s no secret he’s had a troubled past, but Markice Moore appeared to have turned that corner.
I wish him well and I hope he gets the therapy and healing he needs.
