It’s been seven years since Naturi Naughton portrayed Lil Kim in Biggie‘s biopic, Notorious, and the “Queen Bee” still isn’t here for her!
The scoop on the street is Kimmy made a specific request to keep Naturi away from her at a Hip Hop Honors afterparty.
During a visit to “VH1 Live,” the “Power” star told Marc Lamont Hill she still doesn’t understand where the animosity is coming from.
All I know is…I had the pleasure and honor of playing Lil Kim in the film, Notorious. I would love to have her, you know, some kind of affinity.
My thing is…I was a first-time actress in a film, this was the beginning of my career, I’m a little black girl from Jersey – why not uplift and support that?
I’ve always appreciated and loved her work and I wish her nothing but the best.
