‘Everything, Everything’ Screening/Brunch
On Sunday (April 23), Because Of Them, We Can hosted a screening and brunch of Everything, Everything with director Stella Meghie, Anika Noni Rose and Amandla Stenberg in Atlanta.
The film, which is an adaptation of the New York Times bestselling novel by Nicola Yoon, will hit theaters on May 19.
Deadline describes Everything, Everything as a romantic drama that follows Maddy, a smart and imaginative teen who is confined to the walls her hermetically-sealed environment house due to a potentially fatal illness.
Desperate to experience the much more stimulating outside world, she meets Olly, the boy-next-door and a promise of a new romance. Initially the two communicate only through text, but form a deep bond that leads them to risk everything to be together…even if it means losing everything.
The screening took place at SCAD Show with a brunch immediately afterward at the W Hotel.
Eunique Jones (Because Of Them, We Can), Phaedra Parks (“RHOA“), LaTavia Roberson, Nicci Gilbert, Loren Lott, D. Woods, HeadKrack (“Dish Nation“), influencers, and media were in attendance for the beautiful event.
