How did Pharrell Williams end up with a black eye?

Something ain’t right when the “Happy” man is walking around with a black eye!

Pharrell Williams left heads tilted in confusion and tongues wagging when he popped up on the red carpet of A+E Networks “Shining A Light” concert on Wednesday sporting a fresh shiner on his left eye.

It didn’t take long before rumors began circulating about an alleged fight between the super producer and JAY Z over some business with Tidal. (Pharrell reportedly pulled out.)

Pha-real is shutting down the ridiculous reports and says his black eye is the end result of a play session in the kitchen with his wife, Helen Lasichanh.

They were “joking around in the kitchen” and a spatula “flipped up and hit him in the eye,” according to a source.

There’s nothing worse than an accidental black eye that has everyone side-eyeing you.

At the same time, I certainly hope Pharrell isn’t a battered bae.
