A petition calling for the NFL to remove Michael Vick as a 2020 Pro Bowl Legends captain has received over 270,000 signatures.

On November 26, the NFL announced Pro Football Hall of Famers Terrell Davis, Bruce Smith, Darrell Green, and Michael Vick would serve as “mentors” for players and lead a specific team’s offense or defense.

Welp, Joanna Lind wasn’t going to let that happen on her watch.

She took to Facebook to express her disgust over Vick’s inclusion because of his dogfighting crimes almost 13 years ago.

Just saw this on Facebook and was absolutely disgusted.

When is the NFL going to take any responsibility for the behavior of its current and former players?

To honor a man who had zero regard for animals is unacceptable and I would like your help to make sure he is not honored at the 2020 NFL Pro Bowl.

Joanna launched a petition on Change.org and it’s garnered over 270,000 signatures.

There is also a petition that was launched in support of Michael Vick.

The NFL has yet to respond to the petition.
