Whew chillay…the scammers!

A Pennsylvania dentist hid his $600,000 income so that he could collect $25,000 in food stamps.

Joseph A. Ciampa, 45, reportedly claimed on paper to work for a lowly car dealership, and at times said he was unemployed, so he could receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) government benefits between January 2015 and February 2019.

During that time, his dental practice collected $616,240.71 in insurance claim reimbursements alone, according to prosecutors.

I did a little digging and found the scamming dentist’s LinkedIn page.

Ciampa faces one charge of felony fraud and one misdemeanor count.
