Paris Jackson took to social media to get a few things off her chest about her family.
Her rant was in response to fans who questioned her absence at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, where her auntie, Janet Jackson, became the first black woman in history to receive the Billboard ICON Award.
Paris wrote, “Please do not tell me/demand/try to control how to handle my relationship with the people in my life, specifically my family.”
She went on to say it’s no one’s business (I agree) and she noted that she’s handling her family situation “exactly how my father did and I am happy keeping it that way.”
In closing she made it very clear that she wasn’t invited to join the family for the Billboard shindig.
