Fast times is about to slow up for the OnlyFans entrepreneurs, who have been stacking dough by bussin it wide open for their subscribers.

Starting in October the membership and subscription platform will begin blocking sexually explicit content.

The company will still allow their adult-content creators to post nude photos and video, but pornographic material will be prohibited on the site.

OnlyFans said in a statement:

In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of our platform, and to continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines.

We will be sharing more details in the coming days, and we will actively support and guide our creators through this change in content guidelines.

The site exploded with popularity during the COVID-19 quarantine when people began to tap into their freaky sides to keep the bills paid.

You may recall, there was a big stink when Bella Thorne was accused of “ruining” OnlyFans after she made $2 million in a week causing the platform to change their payment terms.

All of this feels familiar. Remember when Tumblr attempted to ban sexually explicit content on their platform?

Yeah…how’s that going?

Peep social media reactions to the news below.

Anyone else find it ironic that this change was announced a day after Rachel Dolezal announced she had joined the platform?

Kidding. Your thoughts?
