OGs Shut Down Jaheim’s Video Shoot Because He Didn’t Pay ‘Hood Tax’
Jaheim is just out here trying to win, but some OGs in Brunswick, New Jersey wasn’t having it when they shut down the R&B crooner’s “Struggle Love” music video shoot. Why? Because he didn’t pay his “hood tax.”
Here’s the scoop via The Source:
A handful of street vets from a New Brunswick, New Jersey housing project stopped the production of a music video by R&B sensation Jaheim in their neighborhood. Problem is, that’s Jaheim’s old hood as well.
The OGs in the Paul Robeson Village Apartments in New Brunswick, New Jersey demanded that the singer pay the “hood tax” in order to shoot the video and when their request was declined, the goon ended the production almost instantly.
Our girl, Demetria McKinney was a part of Jaheim’s video shoot, but it’s unclear if she was still on set when things got…hectic.
