Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner recently attended a New York Knicks basketball playoff game with his new quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, and he sat next to Jessica Alba, and even though he had no idea who she was, he managed to impress her.

Aaron Rodgers got a kick out of his millennial cornerback, Sauce Gardner, not knowing who the actress Jessica Alba was.

Jessica is 42, and Sauce is 22, so it makes sense.

He recently shared the experience with the press:

He was just picking on me a little bit for being young.

You know, like, we was getting seated, and he was like, ‘Oh, we’re about to sit by, um…’ What’s her name?… ‘We bout to sit by Jessica Alba!’

And I’m just like, ‘Oh!’… You know what I mean?… I’m like, ‘Yeah, I don’t know who that is.’

He looked at me like I’m crazy. You know what I mean?…

So, yeah, it was just great… Just being able to sit over there and I got to meet her, and, um, one of her friends who was from Detroit, actually, you know, it was great vibes.

But, that whole night he would just keep asking me out of nowhere, like, ‘Do you know who that person is?’

And I’m like, ‘Bro, that’s Amare Stoudamire, I know who that is, like, now you just picking on me at this point.

What Sauce didn’t share with the press is that his flirty line to Jessica’s friend, the one from Detroit, left an impression on Jessica.

Jessica Alba is a well-known actress whose most notable roles include Max Guevara from the tv series “Dark Angel” and Honey Daniels from the movie Honey.

Sauce Gardner played college football at Cincinnati (2019-2021).

He was drafted by the New York Jets with the 4th pick in the 2022 NFL draft.

He was the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2022.

He took the name “Sauce” from a youth football coach who admired his ability on the field.

It appears Sauce is making catches on and off the field.
