Normani hit the stage of the 2021 MTV VMAs to perform her hit single, “Wild Side,” with Teyana Taylor as her special surprise guest.

Typically, with the dancing skill sets that Normani and Teyana possess, to have them share the same stage would be an epic dance performance, but they decided to go a different route last night.

Chloe had just literally set the stage on fire with her performance, so I knew Normani had to come with something special for her fan base.

I must admit I was excited when I saw Teyana being rolled out on stage after watching Normani run through her tribute performance to Aaliyah and TLC.

Little did I know she saved her Janet Jackson tribute for the finale, with Teyana Taylor playing the role of the lucky fan.
