Nipsey Hussle‘s sister has filed for guardianship of his 10-year-old daughter.
Samantha Smith filed a petition to become the legal guardian of Emani Asghedom.
In her filing, Samantha stated she has “always been a presence in Emani’s life and along with the rest of Emani’s paternal family has assisted in her care.”
It’s unclear whether or not Emani’s biological mother, Tanisha (who goes by Chyna Hussle on social media) is aware of the filing or if she plans to contest it.

As far as Tanisha being out of the picture, our sources say, “Nipsey’s sister has been in his daughter’s life for years, helping raise her.”
Also, we’re told it is believed by his family that her biological mother is unable to provide “a stable environment” for the girl.
The judge has yet to rule on the petition for guardianship.

Tanisha found out about the filing online according to a social media post by her cousin.
She also posted court docs claiming Nipsey and Tanisha shared joint custody.
