Nicki Minaj is feeling some type of away about MTV after they announced the 2015 Video Music Award nominations.
The raptress, who received a Best Female Video and Best Hip Hop Video nomination for “Anaconda,” was taken aback by the lack of nods for her bootylicious visual…especially Video of the Year.
You may recall, the video broke Vevo’s 24-hour streaming record with 19.6 million views.
Nicki and the Barbz were completely dumbfounded and hot as fish grease when they learned her Beyonce collab, “Feeling Myself” had been completely snubbed. My edges are a little frayed about that one. That video was dope!
In a series of tweets, Nicki Minaj called MTV on the carpet:
My grandmother would always say, “A hit dog will holler,” and that’s exactly what happened when Taylor Swift, who snagged nine VMA nods (including Video of the Year for “Bad Blood”) responded to Nicki’s tweet about “slim bodies.”
