Nia Long was over-the-moon and filled with pride when she took to Instagram to announce her son, Massai Zhivago Dorsey II, has committed to Eastern Kentucky University.
In the now-deleted post, the actress wrote:
I’m so proud of my baby @massaidorsey OFFICIALLY COMMITTED TO EASTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY!!!
Blood, sweat and tears…it’s the only way. Let’s get it baby boy!!!

Massai Zhivago Dorsey II, who was born on November 26, 2000, is a baseball player and budding actor. He is the oldest of Nia’s two sons. She is also a mom to her 11-year-old son, Kez Sunday Udoka, from her relationship with Ime Udoka. Nia Long is a veteran actress who has appeared in several classic movies and TV shows including “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “House of Lies,” “The Best Man: The Final Chapters,” Love Jones, Friday, and Boyz N The Hood.
