TLC may not be chasing “Waterfalls,” but their fans and celebrity friends are making it rain on their kickstarter campaign to finance their fifth and final album.
The campaign, which was launched on January 19 in hopes of raising $150,000, has surpassed the point of $210,000 with 26 days of fundraising to go.
Luckily for T-Boz and Chilli, their pot just got a little sweeter after New Kids on the Block and Donnie Walhberg pledged $20,000 to their forthcoming album.
During an interview with Angie Martinez for “Extra,” Donnie gave the scoop on how their donation came to fruition.
The New Kids are contributing $10,000 that I put them on the spot for, and I’ll donate my own extra $10,000. That’s $20,000 for TLC!
In case you haven’t heard, NKOTB, TLC, and Nelly announced their “Main Event” tour which kicks off in May.
