Original Story:

The FBI has joined forces with the Baton Rouge Police Department to find 2-year-old Neveah Allen, who went missing on Friday afternoon (September 24).

According to her mother, Lanaya Cardwel, Nevaeh’s stepfather put her down for a nap around 1 p.m.

Hours later, Cardwel’s oldest came home around 4:15 p.m. and found the door open.

The stepfather was still asleep and Neveah was missing.

Lanaya said:

Nevaeh is not known for wandering around.

I never once had to correct Neveah for even leaving the house without an adult.

The toddler was last seen wearing a yellow and pink dress with pineapples on it.

Neveah Allen is 33” tall and she weighs about 30 pounds.

By Friday night, Louisiana State Police had issued a Level II Endangered Missing Child Advisory.
