Dave Chappelle has three comedy specials coming to Netflix in 2017!
The news comes just 10 days after Dave slayed as guest host of “Saturday Night Live” and gave the sketch comedy its highest ratings of the season.
Here’s the scoop via Deadline:
Chappelle and director Stan Lathan will produce one original all-new comedy special exclusively for Netflix. Additionally, Netflix has picked up a pair of unreleased two-year-old specials from Chappelle’s personal archive.
Directed by Lathan and filmed at Austin City Limits and the Hollywood Palladium, these represent Chappelle’s first concert specials in 12 years and are slated to be released simultaneously in 2017.
Last month, Chris Rock inked a $40 million deal for two Netflix specials. I can only imagine the coins Dave scooped for 3!
