Ne-Yo got dragged all over the social media neighborhood after he told TMZ he would perform at Donald Trump‘s inauguration.
The award-winning R&B singer said, “I wouldn’t go because I support Donald Trump. I’d go because it’s a dope party. I’d go, get the check, have a great time and still say, ‘To hell with Donald Trump.'”

As you can imagine, that didn’t go over well at all. Ne-Yo got dragged to and fro to the point where he took to Instagram to say he was only joking.
The singer wrote, “Now y’all know good and gatdamn well I ain’t performing at no damn Trump inauguration. Some of y’all need to learn to take a joke.”
