The Hollywood Reporter did us a solid on Friday and gave us a first look at Denzel Washington and Viola Davis in their forthcoming film, Fences.
Fences is an adaptation of the late August Wilson’s 1983 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play and tells the story of an African American father’s struggles with race relations in the United States while trying to raise his family in the 1950s and coming to terms with the events of his life.
Not only in Denzel starring in the film…he’s also directing.
Fences is slated to arrive on Christmas Day.
