It’s with a broken heart that I report Alexis Crawford, the 21-year-old Clark Atlanta University student who went missing a week ago, has been found dead.
Her body was found in Decatur, Georgia in a park off of Columbia Drive.
Police are securing arrest warrants for Alexis’ roommate, Jordyn Jones, and Jones’ boyfriend, Barron Brantley.
Days before Alexis Crawford went missing, she went to Grady Hospital and filed a police report claiming Brantley had sexually assaulted her.
Via 11 Alive:
The sexual assault complaint blacks out Crawford’s name, but lists Jones as a witness and Brantley as the suspect. The report, filed on Oct. 27 at around 6 a.m., indicates all three were drinking together at their apartment on McDaniel St SW where Brantley was allegedly coming on to Alexis.
In the report, the police officer wrote, “the victim stated that the suspect rubbed his hand on her shoulder and kissed her on the neck. The victim stated that she asked the suspect what was he doing and he stated he thought she was Ms. Jones.”
The report also details what Crawford remembered from the attack.
She said Brantley followed her into her bedroom. Then, Crawford went into her bathroom alone and closed the door. She doesn’t remember anything after that.

I am so hurt by this. Please uplift Alexis Crawford’s family in prayer.
