I am heartbroken to report Takeoff of the rap group, Migos, was shot and killed in Houston early Tuesday (November 1) morning.

According to law enforcement, the deadly shooting took place shortly after 2:30 a.m. at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston on 1201 San Jacinto St.

The event was for J. Prince Jr.’s birthday celebration.

Quavo and Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, were allegedly playing dice when an altercation ensued.

That’s when someone opened fire, shooting Takeoff in the head or neck.

The rapper was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was 28.

Despite erroneous reports, Quavo was not injured in the shooting, but police say two other people were shot and taken to the hospital in private videos.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Takeoff posted a photo of himself on his Instagram Story about an hour before he was killed.

The caption read, “I got the people goin’ crazy, watchin’ all my moves. My b****’s.”
