Michael K. Williams Set To Co-Star In 'Superfly' Remake

Michael K. Williams is set to co-star in Director X‘s remake of the 1972 blaxploitation crime drama, Superfly.

According to Deadline, “Boardwalk Empire” alum will play the role of “Scatter” in the Sony film which followed a cocaine dealer who tries to secure one more deal before leaving the game.

Trevor Jackson, Jason MitchellLex Scott Davis, Andrea Londo, Jacob Ming-Trent, Omar Chapparo, and Allen Maldonado have also been cast in the film.

Superfly is slated to hit theaters on June 15.
