Michael B. Jordan stopped by “GMA” to talk about his new action-thriller Without Remorse premiering on Amazon Prime on Friday.

The film is based on Tom Clancy’s 1993 novel of the same title.

MBJ said he trained hard for the role of John Kelly, a formal navy seal who seeks revenge after his pregnant wife is brutally killed.

MBJ has received numerous acting accolades since “The Wire,” and he can now add director to his resumé with the release of Without Remorse.

He said he was first inspired to direct by watching the young black talented director Ryan Coogler on the set of Fruitvale Station.

MBJ also mentioned being inspired by the amazing acting talents of the late Chadwick Boseman, and he commented on Boseman’s Oscar snub.

Oscar or no Oscar I think he won.
