Mendeecees Harris Files Request To Be Released From Prison Early

Mendeecees Harris is asking a court to reduce his jail sentence so that he can get back to his family and warning kids about the pitfalls of using and selling drugs.

The “Love & Hip Hop” star filed a petition on Monday seeking a reduction of his 8-year sentence for drug-trafficking to 5.2 years.

Mendeecees’ lawyer pointed out his client has had no disciplinary issues during his incarceration and he’s participated in several programs available to him through the Bureau of Prisons, including: Rehabilitation Oriented Programs (parenting programs, financial programs), Adult Continuing Education Courses, Health and Nutrition Courses, and he’s enrolled in the Residential Drug Addiction Program.

A judge will rule on the motion later this month.
