Megan Thee Stallion has obtained a restraining order against Carl Crawford’s 1501 Certified Entertainment (the label) and 300 Entertainment (the distributor) ahead of the American Music Awards

In her legal documents, the Grammy Award-winning “Savage” rapper claimed 1501 made “threatening and retaliatory” moves to block her from using her music in connection with the AMAs, where she is nominated for Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist.

Megan Thee Stallion doesn’t detail exactly what 1501 or 300 allegedly did or said in an effort to block her blessings, but it was enough to convince a judge to side with her and grant a temporary restraining order.

The court hearing regarding the restraining order, where 1501 and 300 will have a chance to tell their side of the story is set for Tuesday, two days after the American Music Awards will have aired.

The Hot Girl Coach’s ongoing legal battles with Carl Crawford and his 1501 Certified Entertainment imprint have been documented in courtrooms and in the streets of social media for months.

I’m sure all parties will be happy once all of this is over.

The American Music Awards will air this Sunday, November 20 at 8 p.m. EST with Wayne Brady as your host.
