In case you haven’t heard, NBC has an amazing new athletic competition show called, “The Titan Games!”
The show is produced and hosted by Dwayne Johnson alongside Cari Champion, and it gives everyday people the opportunity to push the limits of their physical and mental strength for a chance to win a $100,000 grand prize!
I watched two episodes and I’m completely hooked.
On tonight’s episode (Thursday, January 17), Maximus “Nnamdi” Okoye will be competing to become the next Titan.
He announced the exciting news via social media writing:
Me and my short shorts ? want to thank @TheRock for giving me the opportunity to showcase my story and talents.
Nnamdi is a 26-year-old Investment Management Analyst residing in Los Angeles, California, who is passionate about working out and staying healthy and fit.
He’s the proud son of Nigerian immigrants who made huge sacrifices to come to America.
I had the pleasure of chatting with Nnamdi about competing on “The Titan Games.”
Ironically, he learned he was chosen to compete on the show as he was en route to the gym.
“The Titan Games” will be Nnamdi’s first time participating in an athletic competition. But, he’s definitely up for the challenge.
Nnamdi explained how his years of playing basketball and other sports equipped him on how to handle athletic challenges.
I’m just used to the mental challenges and how to push through them.
When you’ve been there before, it’s a familiar situation and you know how to apply what’s you’ve learned.
As far as the physical aspect of it – I was prepared for that.
But, being on television kinda keeps you on your toes and you have to be ready for anything.
Watch a sneak peek of Nnamdi in action below.
Be sure to tune in to “The Titan Games” tonight at 8 p.m. on NBC to see Nnamdi and others compete to become the ultimate titan.
